Sixteen Names, Endless Possibilities
Did Our Ancestors Cross Paths? Let's Uncover the Links Together
In his post 'Families Reunions: Our Sixteens,'
explains his approach to family history is to focus on his 16 great-great-grandparents. He lists their names and asks if anyone else is researching the same names. While I don't share the specific surnames of his family, I felt inspired to follow a similar path by sharing the names of my ancestors with the hope of connecting with others who may be on a similar genealogical journey.Below are the names of my 16 great-great-grandparents with links to stories that I’ve written about a precious few of them.

Sharing the surnames of our ancestors is a simple yet powerful way to gain momentum in our research. By listing them here, I’m opening the door to potential connections with others who may hold the missing pieces of my family’s history. Plus, these names will now be more discoverable through search engines, helping to bridge the gaps in our collective past.
Do any of these names appear in your family tree? If so, I’d love to collaborate on our shared family history, exchange stories and maybe even discover some new connections together! In the meantime, feel free to use this post as a template for you to do the same!
Oh, and by the way, commenting and sharing is an easy way to help each other boost the visibility of our research focus.
Love this idea! Cousin bait at its finest. Thanks!
I have a blog on Google Blogger, an erratically produced blog, depending on the weather, my mood, or whatever else is going on in my life. But it has been very helpful for cousin-bait. Think I might publish my own Sixteen Names as well! Merci for the idea.
