Want to hear something really controversial? It’s not politics or religion, but the topic can be equally polarizing. Here it is: When I write some of my stories, I use AI to help me.
Before you judge, it’s not what you think. Behind the scenes, AI is being used by our favorite genealogy sites every day to identify records, provide hints and do some transcription - like it did for the 1950 census indexing. So, in a sense, we’re all using AI everytime we do genealogical research.
But I’m not talking about that… I bet you’ve heard of ChatGPT or Google Gemini? These are AI chatbots, designed for human-like conversations. And THAT’S the topic of this episode.
