Tracing the Final Years of Michael Haider

It’s easy to follow the hints and the “work” of what others have put out there on the various genealogy websites, but it’s important to use critical thinking skills and ensure you’ve done your reasonably exhaustive research! In the case of my 2x great-grandfather, doing the research to confirm his death date lead to some surprising discoveries.

In this episode, I discuss why the information I was finding was suspect and how I tracked Michael’s final years and confirmed his death date and location.
